An Arkograf electric marking pen, also known as an electric etcher, provides a simple way to permanently and individually mark electrically conductive metals. Tools, components, machine parts and equipment can be marked directly for identification, asset protection or traceability.

Marking is carried out with a handheld marking pen and a special electrode. Fine lines are applied directly to the metal surface, making the process similar to writing with a pen. Different settings allow different marking intensities. The Arkograf operates from a 230 V power supply, with a transformer reducing the voltage used for the actual marking process.

Arkograf electric marking pens can be used to permanently mark tools and other electrically conductive metal items with names, numbers, symbols or individual markings. This makes tools and components easier to identify and can support both asset protection and traceability.

Models equipped with an additional burning unit extend the range of applications beyond metal marking. Using a burning pen and loop, materials such as wood, cork, leather, rubber and plastic can also be marked. The burning temperature is continuously adjustable.
